THANK YOU TO ALL OUR DONORS & SPONSORS

Our recent  32nd Tribute Festival resulted in some wonderful folks helping us out so that we can keep the Hank Snow Home Town Museum & Country Music Centre open and allow us to help develop young talent and encourage them by providing a stage on which they can perform. We had many sponsors of the above categories and we thank them.  We also had many donors who gave freely of various amounts of monies and we thank them sincerely for their help.  Every little bit helps and added up to us continuing to survive.

Here are some wonderful  sponsors & donors,  in no particular order:

Canadian Heritage, Tourism Nova Scotia, Belliveau Veinotte Inc. Chartered Accountants, Reg Coolen in memory of his musician friends, Gateway Insurance, Sobeys, Louise Crowell,  Mersey Seafoods,  Armour Transportation Inc, Marion Warren, Cynthia & Cathy Truelove, G. Cook & Sons Financial Services, Hell’s Bay Brewery, N&M Tattoo Piercing, Seaside Foods, D. Hatt Sr., D. Hatt Jr., Queen’s Furniture, Memories Cafe, Fisherman’s Cove, DVL Publishing, Daury’s Paint & Collison, Debbie Noel Fashions, Celeste Hair Design,  Hatt’s Shell, MacPhersons, Irving Oil Liverpool

Some donors provided services “in kind” including;  Liverpool Home Hardware,  Superstore, McDonald’s Liverpool, Dixie Lee Family Restaurant, Subway Liverpool, Darrin Everett Electrical, White Point Beach Resort, Lanes Privateer Inn,  Best Western Liverpool and  new sponsors this year, The Breakwater Oceanview Villas, Pleasantville Signs.

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE MANY MUSICIANS AND ENTERTAINERS WHO GAVE THEIR EXTRAORDINARY TALENTS, FREE OF CHARGE.  THEY PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL MUSIC ALL WEEKEND LONG.  The backbone of our organization is having these musicians volunteer their services.  The Headliners are paid through contracts for their services; however, the House Band plays for a small stipend or for free in some cases.  All the folks who entertain during the Tribute on the regular stage do so free of charge and they are so appreciated.

Musicians are one of  the reasons we have the Tribute so folks can have time to share their talents on the big stage for the audiences and sometimes this leads to bigger and better things for them and often means they come back again and again to help out keeping the Museum open.

WE NEED DONORS AND SPONSORS ALL YEAR LONG and appreciate the help grants from various organizations and from our Municipality each year for utilities.   Paying utilities and leases on equipment, providing upkeep and upgrades and maintenance in our old building, purchasing inventory and membership in various associations, paying extra monies for summer students above what grants provide and paying for part-time help not covered by grants, and miscellaneous expenses are necessary to be paid for the Museum to open its doors.  Having tourists and folks having staycations visit our Museum not only benefits us as they pay admission and purchase from our Gift Shop, but also adds to the local economy as they  visit other businesses  during their visits.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME OUT TO VOLUNTEER OR TO DONATE AND TO DO YOUR PART TO MAKE THIS TRIBUTE SUCCESSFUL AND TO KEEP THE HANK SNOW HOME TOWN MUSEUM & COUNTRY MUSIC CENTRE OPEN …..
