9th ANNUAL GAVEN WHYNOT MEMORIAL COUNTRY MUSIC SHOW & BBQ

Come to 17 Hank Snow Drive in Liverpool at the Gaven Whynot Memorial Gazebo in the Hank Snow Park across from the Museum SEPTEMBER 14, SUNDAY – NOON TO 4 PM.

Musical Guests will be: Low Key, Alicia Gidney, Truelove Ways, Ron Muise, It’s All Relative, The Country Jammers and our Special Guest “Charlotte White”.

This special event is in memory of Gaven Whynot who spent so much time and energy in his lifetime to promote and continue the Hank Snow memories and to keep the Hank Snow Museum open. Gaven spent years on the Board of Directors including terms as President. He also opened Hank’s Chuckwagon at the Tributes and not only fed festival attendees but added to the coffers of the Museum for many, many years. Gaven had a great sense of humour and enjoyed life. He did many trips on his bike all over North America. His legacy as part of the Hank Snow Home Town Museum family continues as his daughter Michelle who worked with her father on his many volunteer ventures is now on the Board of Directors. She also took over her Dad’s position as Chief Cook at the Hank’s Chuckwagon for all the events held over at the Charlotte White Concession Building. This memorial celebration is organized by Michelle and friends. The Gazebo where it is held is the Gaven Whynot Memorial Gazebo and was erected in his honour.

There is no admission fee for this special concert but donations are gratefully appreciated!!
