Lobster Crawl Event Held Yesterday

The Board of Directors of the Hank Snow Society are so appreciative of all the folks who support our organization for all the events we hold. Yesterday’s event was sponsored by two new sponsors and one sponsor who regularly helps us whenever we need it. Charles P. Ingram Construction have over the years been very helpful when we need them and donate their expertise and equipment for various projects. They plowed our area so we could hold the event yesterday. Thank you to them for being great community supporters. The Sou’wester Restaurant and Gift Shop located in Peggy’s Cove graciously donated lobster for our event during this Lobster Crawl. This was the first time we had entered the Lobster Crawl and the lobsters were delicious and a big hit at the event. Thank you John Campbell and Marcy Graves were very generous and helpful and we cannot thank John’s organization enough for their support. Last but not least, the WestFor Foundation gave us a grant so we could provide for the Children’s Program for our organization. We thank them for their generosity. With COVID, we were unable to do anything but we were able to prepare for this event and we thank them for their help.

We thank all the volunteers who came on board to prepare the Museum for guests, food for the day, get the outside ready with fire pits and the musicians and sound crew who went above and beyond. Lastly but not the least, the very loyal audience who come to our events whether in winter or summer, we so appreciate you and we give you our heartfelt thanks.

The Museum and Country Music Centre would not exist without all of the above working together all year long to keep it open.

Again, thank you so much. This Board of Directors should be commended on their work ethics and solidarity in working to get through the Covid period which decimated our organization. We have lots of work to do and we thank the members of the Hank Snow Society community who support us. From PEI-Peggy’s Cove-USA-Canada and beyond there are supporters who continue to be here to continue the legacy of the only Canadian male inducted to the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame – Hank Snow.
