Our Museum is OPEN for the season and we welcome everyone to come visit.
Summer students this year are two fantastic assistants sponsored by the Young Canada Works program and we are very thankful for their help again this year.
Jackson Carver who did a fantastic job last year is back on board this year again. He is in Grade 11 in September and did very well this year in school. He has taken on the additional job of keeping the grounds mowed and whipper snipped on his days off from the Museum. Jackson used to help his grandfather do it in previous years. Jackson is looking forward to welcoming visitors and to selling merchandise from the Gift Shop with his quiet and friendly personality.
Sydney Hohlweg came to us from Kings University in Halifax. Originally from BC, her family has relocated to Brooklyn and we welcome them to our community. Sydney began to work with the Museum part-time in May and has now come on board full time for the summer. She began doing tours and is doing a great job helping folks after she familiarized herself with lots of Hank Snow information.
Come in the the Museum and speak to Jackson or Sydney and enjoy the displays in the Museum which houses the NS Country Music Hall of Fame as well as other Canadian artists memorabilia.
