In 1991 or 1992 I sent a letter to Hank asking if I could meet with him when I came to Nashville. He sent a letter back to me explaining how to go about meeting him at the Grand Ole Opry. When we got to the Grand Ole Opry, for some reason we did not get to meet him. When I got back to California I wrote him a letter expressing my disapointment. Several days later Hank called me at my office and apoligized.
