I was in close contact with Hank at the age of three so I was told by my father . He explained that hank would come next door to where we lived at that time which was called leger's corner , now Dieppe. Hank would sing and play with friends all night. I would hear him sing and play on the radio at that time, as young as I was and have loved hank, his singing , and great picking on the guitar ever since. He would play guitar and sing to the people on main steet so my dad told me.What a treat that would have been had I been older at the time. I am 73 now and still feel the same about him , I miss not having him still here with us. God bless him .He's my hero of western music.
