i remember hank, when he came "home".
he would stop by my grandmothers house when he was "on the move".i would sleep in the livivng room while he and my grandmother an others would party in the kitchen. hank was not a mean man,nor a pompous man. he loved having a good time. which he did when he visited our little reserve on his "vacations". i would dance for nickles and dimes to his guitar in my grandmothers small kitchen, most of which were provided by hank.there they celebrated life with mustard glasses full of wine and a cigarette in the spokes of a guitar.
was alot of fun that i wasnt allowed to talk about.
funny how he was just a man back then to a young boy in the 60's but when you look at it now he was a giant of a man.
