I truly loved Hank Snow , his music and much of what he loved and believed in . I always admired and looked up to him . I just wish I could have met and known him. I lost both of my Parents to murder, when I was one month into my 8th year of life.I was the last of the family to see my Dad alive. I heard the shot and he was not more then a few hundred feet away. My Mom was gone by that time and my Brother was left for dead. I knew I was next , I just froze in place where my Dad had left me and never made a sound. I wasn't found until hours later and almost daylight . Scared is not the word . Because of this , I can't help but thank Hank Snow for what he has done for young children who are in need . This happened to me on Jan.23rd of 1964, I am sure he would have helped me if he had only know . My Brother did survive but was in bad shape for a while.I still suffer from PTSD and depression . Not much has been easy for me. I still live alone at 56 now.
