Music fans around the world have learned of the passing of George Jones. It is indeed sad that Country Music has lost another one of our best artists. Also, it is a tragedy that the quality and standards of today's country music is nothing like the original classic country music of the 40's, 50's and 60's. The so-called singers today don't know the true meaning of country music so they obviously can't sing the real country songs! Every country music fan has his or her own "favorites" and in my opinion, Hank Snow is the absolute greatest country singer of all time! He was multi-talented with his variety of songs, guitar playing and song writing. No other CW singer could measure up to Hank's skills. His music will live forever thanks to his countless fans.
