This is from my youtube channel.....Song Mother... This song has deep meaning for me. My Dad used to play it for his mom since the time I was born. He passed away in the early 70's and the song was stuck in my head although I could never find out where it came from. Enter the internet many decades later and I discovered it was written by Hank Snow, a true Canadian Legend. It's really a song about loving and honouring your mother and about not waiting until it's too late...... Especially pertinent during Covid times and with the sad deaths happening at care homes.... This is to my maritime friends especially. Please accept apologies for slight modificaton of lyrics...I hope Hank would approve.
