I have been a devoted Hank Snow Fan from the beginning.I can remember me and two cousins walking down a gravel road,no shirt,no shoes, pants legs rolled up to the knees, singing Hanks songs. This was in the mid fifties.I will be 71 years old this month.I already have Hanks( These Hands )recorded to be used at my funeral.Looking forward to lasting several more years though.I was lucky enough to see him twice. He was a legend.

I'm 78 years old and listened to Hank from the time I was About 8.First on Canadian radio then the Opry.I have around forty of his albums and still listen to them often. He was one of the great ones that played and sang the only true music, Country when it was Country. We'll all miss him.

God Bless you Hank Snow. You have given me the peace in my heart that only someone who has been abused could understand. Children who are abused never fully recover they only hope that someday they will be worthy of love. So, I know you are at the right hand of the father Hank; loved and blessed for eternity. Jim H.

Nobody's Child... I use to sing the chorus as a child. I still sing it in my head now and then. I have not heard it since childhood, so I didn't know all the words till today, I'm now 46. I was not an orphan, I had a home, with two parents of my very own. When mom took out the belt or sticks or spoon. I was nobody's child too. When Dad left my face bloody for childish things that I done. I was best to be nobody's child alone on the run. Listening to music that makes me understand, there's other children hurting. I know someday someone will understand. Jackie

When I was 8 years old in 1964 my dad took me to see Hank at the London Palladium. I had listened to Hank's records probably all my life up to that point and knew all the words to most of his songs. I didnt realise being only 8 what a great performer I was watching at the time, I got slightly embarassed as after every song my dad cheered and clapped louder than any other person in the building. Now 43 years later I can still recall most of the words to the songs I liked the best.

My dad got me hooked on Hank Snow many, many years ago. I look forward to someday inheriting the collection of Hank snow and so many others he has compiled over the years. Does anyone know which album contains 'The Queen of Draw Poker Town'? I'd really like to track that one down for my father.
