Hi all! I have been a life long fan of Hank Snow. I am a 24 year old visualy impaired guy. I have been blind since birth. Where we come from, Hank is very popular! We are from Sri Lanka. I have everything by Hank Snow on 6 Bear Family box sets! I use a talking screen reader to read my mail and to surf the web. I myself am a musician! I play piano! Hi I am still trying to find out where Mr. Hank Snow is in my genealogy, I believe all the Snow's are related some where back in time. My Family came over on the Mayflower and went through VA to NC, on to Indiana then Texas. Winston Snow was my GG-grandfather and Williamd Henry Snow was my G grandfather, James T Snow my Grandfather, and Thurman Snow my Father. It is said we are Cherokee are some where related to Hank Snow.

Upon searching Hanks recordings....I can not find the lyrics to Montana Waltz. Is Montana Waltz a Hank Snow Recording? We also have other artist recodings here at the Hank Snow Country Music Centre....but nothing of the Montana Waltz. If anyone can help this person out please respond Donna

Have been a Hank Snow fan since the early 1950's. He was, is and always will be the greatest country music artist. He was multi-talented with his singing, recitations, guitar playing, song writing and entertaining. He worked hard all his life to achieve his accomplishments and success. His music will live forever thanks to his countless fans.

This is without a doubt the best country singer I have heard over my many years. I still love this old, old country music better than any other kinds of music made. I sure wish the singers of today were this good, but their not, and I don't listen to their stuff at all. I sure wish Hank were still with us and we could all support his road tours again! Thanks for this great tribute site to my hero!

I have been listening to Hank Snow songs since 1952. I learned to play guitar listening to Hank Snow and Jimmie Rodgers records. I was to meet Hank in Nashville but he couldn't make it. He was so kind to call me on the telephone and apoligize and sent me a letter.

Hello Hank, I'd just like to say Thank you very much for being grate to my grandfather (curly king) I have gone through three of our family tree books and have seen many pictures of you both along with others having a good time in my grandparents home. My grandfather was a stubborn man with a heart of gold. I am also trying to update our family tree books, and would like to see if you would like to add something special to our family keepsakes. Curly king passed away in 1989 and I miss him dearly 🙁 We used to sing your songs and I will always carry you in my heart with the warmest memories you have given my grandfather and I. ~God Bless!

Hank; It's hard to beleive it's been nearly a decade since your distinct has been stilled!! You were a great singer in your day and compared to all the'Hat acts'singing'Chicken Fried Hallmark Cards'that come out of Nashville these days,Country Music sure could a few more guys like you!! But your'e in Hillbilly Heaven with Hank Williams;Jimmie Rodgers;Patsy cline;Roger Miller;Jerry Reed and Johnny and June Carter Cash now so rest easy!!

The 18th Annual Hank Snow Tribute held Aug. 14â€“17, 2008 at the South Shore Exhibition Grounds in Bridgewater was a vast success. Talented musicians from across Canada and the United States treated the Tribute crowd to an outstanding four day event. Paul Maulaison gave his popular Guitar workshop, and Joyce Seamone did her song writers circle. Open mic this year was hosted by Blain Henshaw. Returning to the stage again this year from Prince Edward Island were Nudie and the Turks who gave an excellent performance on Saturday night. They sure had the crowd lively and ended the show with a standing ovation. New to the stage this year the Wishing Wellers of Toronto, Ontario who claim their name form a Hank Snow tune, the Wishing Well. David Redford and his wife Jean of Mountain View, Arkansas performed on the Sunday Gospel show. David was last yearâ€™s winner of the sounds like Hank Contest and was trilled to return for the gospel segment. The 19th Annual Hank Snow Tribute will be held Aug. 13â€“16, 2009 at the South Shore Exhibition Grounds in Bridgewater. I'm not a fan of country music, overall, but "I've Been Everywhere" is not only my all-time favorite country song, it is one of my all-time favorites, period. I thank God that I lived to hear Hank Snow's songs and am thankful for the good he did for so many children.

Always have been such a huge fan of Hank Snow. Hank left us with a lot of good music. I am good friends with your son Jimmy Snow, so feel that I am part of the family. Your memory will live on in my heart through Jimmiy as well as your music. Thnaks for the great Music Hank.
