I started listening to Hank Snow when I was Very young,I am 69 years old now and still listening, I enjoy the music very much.
I am from Alabama, just a little out of place.
Spending à lot of time in my live collecting 60 lp,'s from HS. Still playing them all the time. Very impressed with the narration,WHAT THEN. Al Vanreek. Age74. From the Netherlands.
I remember the night that Hank Snow and his family entertained the soldiers at Pershing Field, near Saigon, Vietnam in 1966. It was great to have him there, and I believe it was his son and daughter-in-law who were also with him. I am sure that the Vietnam Veterans appreciate the fact that the Snow family were willing to go anywhere in support of the troops. Thank you.

Listening to my dear old Dad playing his guitar and singing these old songs of Canada's Hank Snow. These memories live on. Even today, I am a great fan of the great Clarence Eugene Snow. Canada has produced many great country singers, fiddlers and other people of various musical aptitudes. These Hank Snow songs will live in my heart for as long as I live.
Have listened to Hank Snow all my life. Dad played guitar and sang his songs at many functions around the Sussex NB area where I grew up. Will continue to listen to his music even though he is gone, but his music will always live on.
Have been listening to Hank Snow since I was 7 years old and living, at that time, in Trinidad, West Indies, where I was born. For many, many years, having lived in Europe, I lost contact with the old country music and singers. Now, with Internet, I have found them all again and seen them as old men and women. I am pleased to see that many have lived to be a ripe old age. There is nothing today to compare with the "old" Country Music and singers.
I've written here before & I can;t say enough good about my hero when I was in H.S. I sang Hank Snow songs then & I still sing them today. I'll be 72 Y.O. the first of the year. 2011. I am still hoping I can get to at least one of your Hank Snow blow outs before I'm called home. I still pic-n grinn two nights aweek. You have done a swell job on this website. I'll keep looking at it as long a I can. God Bless You All.
I've loved Hanks' songs since I was a boy growing up in Newfoundland. That great baritone voice was better sounding than all I've ever heard since.Considering what this great man went through,I'm really suprised that he could do all that he did.I'm seventy one in November and Hank can still bring tears to my eyes when he sings "Little Buddy." and "The Drunkards Son." Hank is a pleasent person to listen when I take the time.God bless you Hank for your wonderful music and your caring for less fortunate kids.
Have been a great fan since I was a kid in the 50's. have 34 of his albums. I did get to see hank at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver back in 1969/70,marvelous show.
Finally, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, and area has decent music to listen to. Love it! (I and many others could not handle the ear-splitting music of your sister station).
Just wondering - is there any way to submit Birthday greetings for someone via on line to Hank FM?
I have been a Hank Snow fan since the age of 12. I adore his songs so much. I am from Sri Lanka and of course, he is huge over there. I am 25 and classic country has always and will always be my number 1 favorite music of all time. I am blind in both eyes and use a computer that talks. Would love to hear from other Hank Snow fans! my email address is: thecountryman@bell.net
I've always been a Classic Rock fan. But, now with Hank FM in Bridgewater, I'm becomming a Country fan also.
Looking forward to spending some time at the Hank Snow Tribute in Bridgewater this week-end!

I am anchored in the Lahave Islands now and will sail up river in time for the Tribute. Being an old cowboy from New Mexico I look forward to the event. If you need a volunteer I can be there.
Hank if your listening / love your music and wish I had met you in our lifetime you were sensational
Hank is still the greatest country singer that ever lived and his music will live on long after the current crop of singers have passed on.

BEEN A HANK SNOW FAN FOR 50 YEARS IVE GOT ALL HIS RECORDS HE WAS THE VERY BEST
Clarence [ Hank ] was a singer with a very rich voice and style to boot.I am now 77 yrs.old, but I can remember babysitting young Jimmy so the show could go on in the Sioux Lookout Hotel in July of 1951. I was too young to get in the hotel to watch him,but for babysitting he gave me a 78 RPM called Little Buddy for my efforts. I kept that and cherished it,and left it with my girlfriend when I went to the War in Korea, There was no girlfriend or record left when I returned home to Manitoba.Perhaps Jimmy would remember me,as I was working in the "Sioux" in '51 for the CNR Extra Gang and was at loose ends, which nearly saw me achieve my life long ambition of being a Steam Engineer for the CN and in fact completed two supervised runs on the Branch line and the South line from Shebandowan,Ont.I later memorized and sang most of Hanks songs but could never get the hang of a Guitar, Had to settle for the FiddleHank's songs when heard still sends shivers up my back, like a lot of other folks I know from his era. Best Regards to a great site and keep it up. Bob Ducharme.
