PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGE IN DATE FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION THE FRIENDS OF HANK SNOW SOCIETY

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Hank Snow Society will be held October 29, 2023, Sunday at the Branch # 38 Legion at 43 Henry Hensey Drive,  Liverpool, NS  at 2 pm.

The Annual Meeting of the Society will be held within three months after the end of the fiscal year which ends September 30, 2023.

New Directors shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting.  Any member proposed for election as an Officer of the Board shall be a member in good standing for at least 6 months prior to the meeting.  All Directors shall have the best interests of the Society as a priority and be willing to adhere to the Objects of the Society.  Directors must be 18 years of age.   Directors will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and to sign acknowledgement of the Code of Conduct and Harassment Policy and read the policy, understand and comply with same policy.  Management of the affairs of the Society shall be vested in the Board of Directors.

A Director may be removed from office by the Board of Directors by two-thirds vote of the Board if said Director’s behavior is repugnant to the best interests of the Society, or the Director’s failure to adhere to the Objects of the Society.

Those interested in The Friends of Hank Snow Society are welcome to attend on Sunday,  October 29, 2023 at  2 pm at our local Legion at 43 Henry Hensey Drive, Liverpool, NS.
