CARROLL BAKER – A FRIEND OF FRIENDS OF HANK SNOW SOCIETY

The Friends of Hank Snow Society are sad that Carroll Baker was unable to be a headliner at the Hank Snow Tribute this year as planned due to circumstances beyond our control.  Carroll  has been patiently waiting for the Tribute to be held and has in the past played here without compensation and we thank her for being willing to share her talents with us and our audiences.  She is a true friend of our organization and was very willing to be here and would have been here except for our circumstances.  This has made us very sad  and we hope to have her on our stage in the future.

We look forward to having headliners each night of the Tribute with Ruth Manning & The Prospectors appearing on Thursday August 17.  Ruth was inducted to the NSCMHF in 2022.  NS Country Music Hall of Fame Inductees including Matt Balsor, Chet Brown, Sheila Newman, Don Haggart, Joanne Newman, and 2 others tba will be headlining the Friday night show August 18.  On Saturday night, August 19 we have the Rhinestone Romeos from the Valley and Southern Breeze Band featuring Ray Legere & Bernie LeBlanc from New Brunswick. Ray Legere was inducted to the NSCMHF and was honoured recently with a Doctorate Degree in NB.  Sunday which is a free show will feature the finale hosted by Joyce Seamone also an Inductee to the NSCMHF.  All weekend there will be talented  musicians performing on the Tribute Stage as well as these headliners.

Again, we thank Carroll Baker for her patience and help during COVID and look forward to having her share her talent either at a trubute or at another event in the future.

We are looking for sponsors for our event and welcome any help as COVID decimated our organization financially.  We look forward to seeing everyone at the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool for the 31st Annual Hank Snow Tribute.  Check this  web page and facebook pages, Twitter and Instagram for more information or call 902-354-4675 or email info@hanksnow.com.
