A couple of our wonderful entertainers who help out the Friends of Hank Snow Society over the years are gaining awards and honours in the music world.

Here we highlight   Dave Burbine and Ruth Manning.

 

DAVE BURBINE:

  • North American Country Music Associations International: Pigeon Forge Award  –  50+ Horizon Male Entertainer 2023
  • North American Country Music Associations International: Pigeon Forge Award  –  50+ Horizon Male Vocalist 2023

Congratulations Dave and again you have made us proud.

Dave has been one of the most dedicated performers that have graced our stages over the years.  Dave alone or with his bandmates has provided wonderful performances to the delight of many audiences over the years.  We thank them all for their dedication.  Dave has never said no when he has been asked to help out to provide his talent whenever we have asked him and this has helped keep the Hank Snow Home Town Museum and Country Music Centre alive.

Dave and Dixie also had the opportunity to travel to the Opry and around Nashville.  They also surprised Dixie’s sister by visiting her and her family in Arizona.   Looking forward to seeing you home in Nova Scotia.

 

RUTH MANNING:

  • Special Songwriter performance – Megalith Nashville Records’s recording artist Ruth Manning  at            Debi Champion’s Songwriters Nights March 13, 2023

Ruth, her hubby Mike and our friend Scott Redden spent time recently as guests at the Rainbow Ranch, the home of Hank and Minnie Snow and to the Opry.

Congratulations Ruth on your accomplishments as a Songwriter and as a singer.   We have been proud of you and thank you for being part of our wonderful entertainers who keep the Hank Snow Home Town Museum and Country Music Centre alive.
